For our Coastal Hideaway Project, the theme we endeavoured to bring into the home was Serenity with a hint of Nautical. We chose soft and light colours with touches of Polo Blue to elevate an otherwise muted colour palette. Throughout the home, you will see the foundation for each space is a crisp, white – from the walls and ceilings, to the countertops, and lighting fixtures. To warm the serene white space up and to project a feeling that is pretty and inviting, we opted for warm, yet subdued wood accents – as you can see in the kitchen stools, the dining room table top, and many of the bedroom furniture and accent pieces. To ensure that furniture pieces maintained a serene feel in communal spaces, we strategically chose select white furniture, such as the dining table and the living room upholstered pieces.

Our aim was to maintain the family feel of this home. To achieve this, we added hints of blush and navy to the smaller bedrooms and added sprinklings of homey accents – cozy pillows and throws cut the harshness of a white space and create a welcoming feel.
